From the supplier: Mortgage brokers and other financial institutions are introducing a wide array of new mortgage products to attract investors who now have a more realistic view of the value of homes as an investment. These financial services providers are doing everything they can to provide customers more flexibility and to help them meet their needs. One of the mortgage products customized to cater to customer requirements is the jumbo mortgage. Another, more recent creation is HomeVest Financial Group’s ‘combined asset’ mortgage (CAM). This product, also known as life insurance-based mortgage, enables a down payment on a home to earn tax-deferred interest. CAM also allows homebuyers to borrow against the insurance policy at net zero cost with no fixed repayment schedule.
